A website that you can find roof tile manufacturer in China

If you are a roof tile and roofing material importer, where do you find a reputable Chinese supplier? Do you use Google? Yahoo!? Bing? But the truth is, Chinese roof tile manufacturers don't even have set up their websites to promote their roof products online.

As I know, there're thousands of roof tile manufacturers in China, some start-up, some large enough with production capability over 500 million square meters annually. Most of them use B2B websites to display their products, for instance, made-in-china.com and alibaba.com.

Alibaba.com is reported by several traders and importers around the world, that they get forged and fake commodities from 'Golden Supplier' on alibaba.com. You can find out more stories on Google search.

I trust made-in-china on roof tile business, because I have no trouble in forged and fake. You can use their own search engine, the reputable and big roof tile manufacturers usually rank top three.

You may name other B2B websites in China, but I only trust made-in-china, and I don't want to be fooled on alibaba.com even though I used to search on it.

Solar Car Project?

Even though I put all of my attention on solar roof project around the world, a solar car project leaded by Stanford students distract me. Apparently, they are doing it good. A 1985 Matsuura CNC 3-axis mill, that's the raw material they are working on. Look at the picture on their blog , the mill was fully equiped with solar panels. I don't know the conversion rate of silicon cells they are using, but I think I can provide them some if they need. However, what they want to prove is simple that a solar power car can be made and drive. Great job, Stanford students!

GT Solar Receives $47.3 Million Order SDR400 CVD Reactors

GT Solar International, Inc . (NASDAQ: SOLR), a global provider of polysilicon production technology, and sapphire and silicon crystalline growth systems and materials for the solar, LED and other specialty markets, today announced that it has received a $47.3 million order from South Korea-based polysilicon producer OCI Company, Ltd. for its newest SDR™400 CVD reactors. This is OCI’s third order for GT Solar’s SDR400 CVD reactors. The new systems will be installed as the first phase of OCI’s new polysilicon capacity expansion plan, which OCI announced on December 8, 2010. The order will be included in GT Solar’s backlog for its current Q3 FY11, which ends on January 1, 2011. GT Solar SDRTM CVD Reactor Series are high volume production chambers that utilize the proven Siemens-type process technology to manufacture high quality semiconductor grade or solar grade polysilicon.

Greece Supply Solar Power After Germany Quit

After the disaster of Fukushima plant in Japan early this year, Germany decided to shut down all 17 of the country's nuclear reactors over 11 years. Meanwhile, Germany is looking for the countries which can provide solar clean energy. According to SolarDaily news , Greece plans to develop some 20,000 hectares of solar power parks in a bid to export renewable energy to Germany, a report said on Saturday. George Papandreou, Greek Prime Minister, said they're planning to build the world's largest solar park next January. The reason why Greece is positive in this project is the current high unemployment rate and shrink of economy.
